7 Tips to Relieve Neck Pain

Neck pain afflicts the majority of individuals at some point in their life. Here is a breakdown of ways to help ensure that you might not be afflicted.

  1. Get regular chiropractic adjustments
  2. “Treat” yourself to a massage to decrease muscle tension
  3. If working at a desk take a posture break at least once per hour (here are some suggestions: http://www.spine-health.com/conditions/neck-pain/neck-stretches )

  5. Drink half your body weight in ounces of plain water to decrease total body inflammation (trust me, this will help more than you know)
  6. Perform some gentle range of motion stretches throughout the day
  7. Get your cell phone directly in your line of sight, don’t tip your head down to use it
