What to Expect
If you’ve ever gone to a social event where you didn’t know anyone, you know how uncomfortable that can make you feel. Our goal is to eliminate every shred of apprehension and make you feel at home.
Since chiropractic care involves a series of visits, with each one building on the ones before, it’s important that our relationship can go the distance. We’ve found that one of the best ways to have successful patient relationships is to explain everything in advance. No surprises!
The more you understand who we are, what we do and why we do it, the better results you’ll enjoy. It’s as simple as that.
So, check us out here. Get to know us. Then, contact us to make an appointment so we can get to know you.
Your First Visit
When you arrive at the office there is plenty of parking in front of the building. Once you get inside Michele will greet you and if you have not filled out your paperwork she will get you started on that. Once that is finished you will meet with Dr. Nick Silveri and the two of you will discuss your problem and how chiropractic can help. If it is decided that chiropractic is your best option for care a thorough examination will be performed which will help identify the cause of your problem.
Patients love that we explain everything in advance. At that point you will set up an appointment to come back into the office to receive your Report of Findings and your first adjustment if you decide to start care.
Usually the first visit takes about thirty minutes, but depending on the complexity or severity of your problem could take up to an hour.
Your Second Visit
The second visit is where Dr. Silveri will go over your exam findings with you and give his recommendations for care. In this time Dr. Silveri will answer a couple key questions that every patient wants to know.
- What is wrong with me?
- Can you help?
- How long will it take to fix?
- How much will it cost?
If you decide that you would like to begin receiving care, your treatment plan that Dr. Silveri has suggested would begin and you would receive whatever treatment has been prescribed.
A Typical Visit
A typical office visit usually takes about five to ten minutes if you are just getting adjusted.
If your treatment plan involves timed treatment such as disc decompression, acupuncture, ultrasound, or electrical stimulation then your visits will last between 15 and 30 minutes.
Dr. Silveri realizes that your time is valuable and he does his absolute best to stay on schedule and not leave people waiting. Average waiting time is under one minute.
